“1.2 Meters” is Hu Bei’s creative response to the challenges posed by social distancing in the post-pandemic world. Designed to be worn as a necklace or a handbag, the interactive wearable accessory equipped with distance-sensing capabilities will gradually light up in a rhythm as gentle as that of breathing when the social distance between the wearer and passers-by is less than 1.2 meters. The device serves as a gentle reminder of the value of face-to-face interactions, aiming to foster a delightful, playful, and engaging connection between individuals.
